CREATION Succinctly Summarized

In the beginning was the Word,
---and the Word was with God,
---and the Word was God.

All things were made by Him;

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And God saw everything that He had made,
and, behold, it was very good.
--And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
--Thus the heavens and the earth were finished,
--and all the host of them.

For by Him were all things created, 

that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,...For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, 

--being understood by the things that are made, 

...so that THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE:

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: 

because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.....the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, ...For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
--wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day,
--and hallowed it.

Lift up your eyes on high,
and behold Who hath created these things.......

Through faith we understand that the worlds 

were framed by the word of God.

When I consider Thy heavens, 

the work of Thy fingers, 

the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; 

Q: What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him? 

--For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, 

--and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

Gird up now thy loins like a man; 

--for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me.

Q: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? 

--declare, if thou hast understanding. 

Wherefore, 

as by one man sin entered into the world, 

and death by sin; 

and so death passed upon all men, 

for that all have sinned: 

--For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
