The "2 Israels" SIMPLIFIED

"There's the Israel of the flesh (Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 1 Corinthians 10:18) and the Israel of God centered in Jesus (For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Galatians 6:15-16).
That's not some arbitrary nation state that was founded in 1948.
It's a spiritual experience through Jesus Christ.

In Romans 9:6, Paul says
They're not all Israel which are of Israel.
There's two Israels.
The Israel of the Flesh and the Israel of God.
Paul's very clear that the Israel of God is made up of Jews who believe in Jesus, like Matthew and John, Peter, James (who became part of the Israel of God) and Gentiles (non-jews) who also believe in Jesus.
Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus are all together—we become the Seed of Abraham by faith (Galatians 3:29).

***Centered in Jesus Christ, all the Old Testament prophecies now apply to the Israel of God in Jesus Christ—not to the Israel of the flesh who can just trace their lineage back to Abraham but who don't believe in Jesus."
