Point of Reference - Death

Adam & Eve had no real point of reference for death when God told them they would die if they disobeyed. 

Q: Was death their eviction from the Garden? 

Q: Was death what happened to the withering plants? 

Q: Was death the bleeding lambs for their sin?

---But they soon got their reference point of death - And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
